Information: Law to promote the participation of women in leadership positions
thyssenkrupp has been pursuing a Groupwide strategy to promote diversity since 2013. Our joint goal is to achieve a 15% proportion of women in all the Group’s leadership positions by 2020. This corresponds to the proportion of female employees in the Group. 15% would therefore be a fair share of leadership positions, an ambitious target also in comparison with other DAX30 companies.
thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH is also subject to a statutory obligation to set targets for the proportion of women on the supervisory board, the management board and two management levels below, in each case specifying a deadline for meeting these targets. thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH has fulfilled this obligation. All the initial implementation deadlines expired on June 30, 2017.
