Spring steel | C55S - 51CrV4
Spring steels are in the carbon range of 0.55 to 1.00%. These steels are subjected to various heat treatments (hardening, quenching and tempering, isothermal transformations) to achieve the optimum spring properties required in each case. They are standardised in DIN EN 10132-4 and include the grades C55S to C100S as well as 51CrV4 and 80CrV2. Typical applications are technical springs.
These steel grades are slit by thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe starting from hot-rolled wide strip to the desired width and supplied in pickled or unpickled.
Select your spring steel here in the grades C55S, C60S, C67S, C75S and 51CrV4.
