In May 2017, the shareholders' meeting of thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH set a target of 30% for the proportion of women on the Supervisory Board with a target attainment deadline of 30 June 2022. This minimum percentage of women set by the Supervisory Board has been exceeded since the 2015/16 financial year. As at 30 June 2022, the Supervisory Board had three female members on the shareholder side and no female members on the employee side, resulting in a proportion of women of 50%. In a resolution dated 11 May 2022, the shareholders' meeting set a target of 33.33% (two women) for the proportion of women on the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH and an implementation deadline of 30 June 2027.
In May 2017, the shareholders' meeting resolved a target of 0% women on the Management Board with a target attainment deadline of 30 June 2022. In a resolution dated 11 May 2022, the shareholders' meeting resolved a target of 50% (one person) for the proportion of women on the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH and a deadline for implementation by 30 June 2027.
In June 2017, the Executive Board set the target for the proportion of women at the first and second management levels below the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH at 3% for the first management level and 15% for the second management level, with a target achievement date of 30 June 2022 in each case. As at 30 June 2022, the proportion of women at the first management level below the Executive Board was 7.69% and at the second management level below the Executive Board 31.03%. The targets for the first and second management levels were therefore exceeded.
The Management Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH has also set itself the goal for the future of at least maintaining and further increasing the proportion of women in management positions. In a resolution dated 23 March 2022, it therefore set a target of 20% (two people) for the first management level and a target of 33.3% (one person) for the second management level below the Executive Board and a target attainment deadline of 30 June 2027.
