Electrical steel is manufactured in a complex production process and is an ideal material for numerous industrial applications where electrical conductivity is required. This material is essential for the construction of electric motors, transformers and generators.
We have processing expertise in both non-grain-oriented (NGO) and grain-oriented (GO) materials.
With processing options from 0.20 mm thickness, we are able to meet the increasing demands of e-mobility and realise sophisticated cutting burrs of ≤0.020 mm. Our portfolio also includes other industrial applications in the ≥0.50 mm thickness range.

Non grain oriented electrical steel has the ideal texture, as there are two other simple magnetisation directions in the sheet plane. This makes non-grain-oriented electrical steel strip ideal for rotating electrical machines such as generators and electric motors.
In grain oriented electrical steel, the direction of magnetisation runs parallel to the direction of the magnetic field; this type of electrical steel is therefore well suited for transformers of all kinds.
