Ferritic steel

Ferritic stainless steel grades such as 1.4513 contain a medium chromium content, but no nickel. It is alloyed with 1% molybdenum and is suitable for many corrosive environments. Stainless steel grade 1.4513 is mainly used in silencers in exhaust systems of motor vehicles.
