Austenitic steel | 1.4301-1.4541
Austenitic steels have a transformation-free austenitic structure due to the addition of more than 8% nickel. High toughness makes them insensitive to impact stress, severe temperature changes and aggressive environmental conditions. They are also not susceptible to coarse grain formation at high temperatures and have good formability by all processes.
Austenitic steels are used for complicated formed parts such as dishwasher interior doors and floors as well as sinks, hollowware and pipes, as well as in the food and chemical industries.
