Micro-alloyed steel | HC260LA+ZE - HC460LA+ZE
The electrolytically zinc-coated micro-alloyed steels with high yield strength are alloyed with one or more of the elements niobium, titanium and vanadium. They exhibit good cold formability at a defined yield strength. The high strength properties result from precipitation hardening by finely distributed carbonitrides and a fine-grained microstructure. In certain applications, these steels permit weight reduction without reducing the strength of the component.
The steel grades are classified according to increasing values of yield strength. The mechanical properties are valid for a period of at least 6 months from the date of availability of the products.
